What do we Really want?

We sometimes forget that our true mission in life is a spiritual one. So often, we become distracted by material things. Until, life creates circumstances for us to realize that fulfillment comes from true love, kindness, and caring we manage to experience and extend to others.

Yogis say the true self, the atma, is in the heart. When we connect to our heart and create intentions from our heart center, rather than the mind, these intentions become more genuine, not imposed on us through our collective heritage of family belief system or what media says we need to have or be. Then the question becomes "What do you want your legacy to be? What do you want to leave behind.."

Once we have this clarity and we take full responsibility for ourselves and our experience, we become aligned with the universal forces that are intent on helping us grow, and true change can then begin to take place.. With this consciousness, we can embrace our circumstances as the keys to our inner freedom, rather than clinging to the self-defeating thoughts we have about them, which only keep us stuck.

" Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
